Policies

Contacting Us: The best ways to reach us are by phone or email. We do our best to get back to everyone in a timely manner. All inquiries made by facebook or instagram will be redirected to give us an email or phone call.

Allergens: Please inform us if you or anyone in your party is allergic to anything. We are not a nut free facility, and use them daily. Food safety and allergen awareness certified, we will take every precaution to accommodate your order; but we make no claims to be free of any allergens.

Payments: We accept cash, debit, or credit cards. Payments can be made online directly through our invoicing system. Once your order form is written up, and you are satisfied with the details, we write up an electronic invoice and email it over to you. Payment in full is due at the time the order is placed, and confirms your order. Your order is not finalized until payment in full is made. Cash payments are not accepted on the day of pick up, please arrange payment in advance to have your order finalized. All orders are final.

Refunds: We promise to do our best to provide the best tasting and best looking cakes to every client. Please keep in mind that no two pieces of art made by people are ever exactly alike! Every order is hand-made. Decorative finishes are done by hand and are subject to our artistic interpretation. You may provide us with a photograph for inspiration and duplication; however, we make no claims for exact duplication of the work done by another cake artist.

Once an item has been picked up by You or Your Designated Party, it is considered “Accepted”.  Accepted means that you, the client (or your designated party), has looked at the item and was satisfied with it. 

*Due to the nature of custom orders; if you do not say anything at the time of pick up about a design issue you have, and contact me later on a refund will not be issued. We want everyone to be happy with their order so please speak to me at pick up so we can best figure out how to fix it.

In the event that we have made a major mistake to the design theme (butterflies instead of dinosaurs for example), and you alert us at the time of pickup, every attempt will be made to correct this error in a timely manner. In the event that we are unable to correct our mistake before your event, you can choose not to accept the cake and will be refunded any money already paid for the cake.

If a major mistake in flavor is found after leaving with the cake (at the time of cutting it), please notify us immediately.  If it is found that we served you an entirely incorrect flavor, you will be refunded or credited for the portion of the cake that was an incorrect flavor.  

Cancellations: All orders are final, no refunds. If something comes up and you need to postpone your order, please give us at least 3 days notice.

Scheduled Pick ups: We run our business out of our home; because of this we ask that you be prompt on your scheduled pick up time.

No Shows/ Unclaimed cakes: If you fail to pick up your cake on the scheduled date and no other arrangements have been made after several attempts to contact you; you forfeit your order and no refund will be issued.

Damaged Cakes: If you bring a cake back to us, we may be able to repair it; but you may incur a repair charge. Depending on the extent of the damage, the original cake may not be suitable for repairs and may need to be replaced. In such instances, additional charges may apply.

Wedding Cakes: Wedding cakes require a $100.00 non refundable deposit to hold the date. Final payment is due in full no later than 3 weeks out from the wedding.
